Job Brief
The sales/cashier position is responsible for maintaining guest service, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all company policy/store standards.
Sales Associate Responsibilities
- Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
- Maintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
- Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers.
- Communicate guest requests to management.
- Meet sales goals.
- Ability to work with a united team under a shared vision.
- Work according to company values and culture, prioritize ruthlessly, use good communication, and deliver results effectively.
- Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs and monitoring their preferences.
Sales Associate Requirements

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- 1-3 years sales experience.
- Ability to proficiently speak English and Spanish

- Reliable transportation to and from work

- At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
- Math skills: calculating sales totals
- Math skills: calculating percentages
- Math skills: counting cash drawer
- Math skills: tracking inventory usage
- Able to stand for duration of shift

- Comfortable handling customer complaints
Salary: $13 per hourEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
